Andrew Au Yeung

Andrew Au Yeung attained his Bachelor of Arts in Music (Hon) Degree in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During his study, he learnt Horn from Mr. Homer Lee and Mr. Lin Jiang from the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. He then furthered his studies of Master of Music Degree in Germany, Hochschule für Musik Mainz, under the tutelage of Prof. Mahir Kalmik and Mr. Stef van Herten from the Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester.

He then furthered his studies of Master of Music Degree in Germany, Hochschule für Musik Mainz, under the tutelage of Prof. Mahir Kalmik and Mr. Stef van Herten from the Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester.  After his master studies, Andrew returned to Hong Kong and co-founded the Advance Music Academy, working with various Hong Kong local and international schools' orchestras as conductor and Music director. He has appeared as horn soloist with the Chung Chi Wind Orchestra, and performed as guest hornist in various orchestras including Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Gustav Mahler Orchestra, Ponte Orchestra, Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra, New Music Ensemble.
